A Simple Switch
I had a friend tell me she wasn’t talented enough to create the art piece she wanted to design. I said she may not have the talent now but with effort she could reach it.
You can’t go back…
Free Short Story: Silence
Nine-year-old Damion Herold can see and feel sounds. That makes him different from everyone he knows. It also makes him want his parents to stop fighting. He wants silence, more than anything, and makes a wish for Christmas. A wish that comes true. But not in the way he expected… A fantasy holiday story of loss and renewal. “Silence” by National Bestselling author Dara Girard is free on this site from only the 17th to 24th .
In case you’re ready to give up
Because I’ve gotten a number of private comments from people disappointed with what they have to show for their efforts, ready to throw in the towel, I thought I’d re-post something I’d put up in 2016 and think is still relevant today. Is this all there is? Yes. For now.
