December 2025 Book Recommendation
Many people start the New Year with WHAT they are going to do.
They are going to learn a new language, travel more, read more, lose weight etc…
But I challenge you to start with WHY you want to do these things, which incidentally leads to my book recommendation for December.
Start with Why by Simon Sinek
Please don’t be turned off by the subtitle How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action. This is a book for you. An ordinary person with hopes and dreams and goals.
You are the leader of your own life—and if you’re connected to others, whether through family or community—you lead others even in small ways.
But I’m going to focus on you.
If you are tired of starting and stopping endless goals you never reach. If you are fed up with generic advice and the promise of productivity gurus. If you want to find out how successful people think differently. Or why you make the choices you do that end up standing in your way…then give this book a try.
Here’s a quote to get you started:
Put, simply, best practices are not always best.
It’s not just WHAT or HOW you do things that matters; what matters more is that WHAT and HOW you do things is consistent with your WHY. Only then will your practices indeed be best.
You need to find methods and practices that suit YOU not someone else. And that starts with WHY you’ve decided to make a certain decision.
Don’t let 2026 be another series of WHATs and HOWs. You know what to do, you know how to do it.
Be bold.
Ask WHY.
