I have yet to meet a strong ego. Egos are fragile things. The people I know who have the biggest ones are very fierce in their defense of it. Ego requires it. It needs protection; it takes more than it gives (if it gives anything at all).

This post is from five years ago, but the message still holds. Just because something is written or said doesn’t make it true. Just because something is repeated over and over again doesn’t make it important. Just because something seems amazing or astounding doesn’t mean it’s worth your attention. But you already know this.
