The first words you write don’t have to be perfect.
The essay, poem, article, novel, play… whatever, does not have to be perfect. That doesn’t mean it won’t be amazing, insightful, thrilling, scary, boring, repetitive and a host of other things. But I’ll guarantee you this; it won’t be anything if it stays locked in your head.
