Of course there’s a gap.
Sometimes there’s a huge gap between who you are now and who you want to be. Where you are now and where you want to be.
That gap can be scary.
That gap comes with tension.
However, that tension is important if you understand its purpose.
If you let the tension fill you with doubt, dread, depression you won’t make it across.
BUT if you accept that the tension is normal, that pushing through it, crossing over it or under it or closing it isn’t supposed to be easy then you can start to see it for what it is.
Use that to your advantage. Most people won’t start. Most people will stop. Most people will come up with excuses.
Most people refuse to believe that closing/crossing the gap takes a commitment.
But you’re not most people.
